Privacy notice

The short version: your conversations never reach us. Here is everything else.

1. Who we are

narad.si (“we”) designs the narad.si pendant and app. Contact: privacy@narad.si. [Registered entity name, address and grievance officer details to be added before launch.]

2. What we never receive

Audio captured by the pendant, transcripts, summaries, to-dos, reminders, people notes, voice profiles, search history and the contents of encrypted backups are processed and stored only on your devices (and, if you choose, in your own cloud storage, encrypted with a key only you hold). We have no technical means to access them. See Sovereignty for the architecture.

3. What we do collect

  • Reservation and order data: name, email, mobile number, delivery city, PIN code and address — to manage your reservation, deliver your order and provide support.
  • Payment confirmation: processed by our payment provider; we receive a confirmation and the last digits of the instrument, never full card or bank details.
  • Device data: pendant serial number and firmware/app version when you check for updates.
  • Diagnostics (opt-in only): crash reports scrubbed of conversation content.
  • This website: no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Our host may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security, retained for a short period.

4. Why, and on what basis

We process the data above to fulfil your reservation and order, to meet legal obligations (such as invoicing and tax), and — only with your consent — to send occasional product letters. We will seek and record consent in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.

5. Sharing

With delivery partners (to ship your order), our payment provider, and our email provider — each bound by contract to use the data only for that purpose. We do not sell personal data and never will.

6. Retention

Reservation data is deleted if you cancel, or 12 months after our last contact if no order is placed. Order and invoice records are kept as long as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or erase the personal data we hold, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Write to privacy@narad.si; we will respond within the time the law requires. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, email you before they take effect.
